‘Tis the season to get rid of all those extra samples, discontinued items, over stock, cleaning out the closets, donating and for practicing the wonderful gift of giving! studioDW is honored to provide design and materials coordination assistance to Penitent's Grace, Inc., for the new ReEntry Transitional Supportive Home - “Soli Deo Gloria House” - on Ennis Street, which is located in one of the five top zip codes in Houston in which ex-offenders are released.
As you may know, Texas ex-offenders have a re-arrest rate of almost 50% within 19 months of release. Fertile Ground helps stop the cycle of crime for its residents by giving the initial support they need to get on their feet, get job training skills, find work, live in a safe, drug-free environment that demands accountability and Christ-like behavior. Less than 10% of Penitent Grace’s clients have been re-incarcerated.

We are reaching out to the A&D community to request that you help in any manner you feel moved. This can be in the form of donated material items such as finishes, furniture, fixtures, art, accessories, architectural and construction services, landscaping design and services, volunteer assistance or men’s clothing; or in the form of monetary donations.

Note that items listed on the Donation Wish List can vary in style, design and quantity. **Only the beds and bed frames are accounted for at this time and project completion is anticipated for June, 2012.

Penitent's Grace, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Faith-based non-profit organization which provides housing and after-care support for homeless individuals – men who are in need of a fresh start in our society. Included FREE services are job placement support and life skill practices.
